The Past Behind You

Most recognize this iconic desert landscape, but from where? He ran for 3 years, 2 months, 14 days, and 16 hours. The 1994 movie classic and might be my all-time favorite movie Forrest Gump is probably where. I remember when I was 7 or 8, watching this movie on VHS, and gazed at the incredible things Forrest ran to. This spot in particular is where Forrest Gump ended his run and decided to go back home. Monument Valley and the landscape surrounding brings out the curiosity and wanderlust in everyone. “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
