That Escalated Quickly

Since the dawn of the escalator, people have gotten so lazy. More fast food restaurants are opened than ever before. Our bones have weakened, and muscle slowly morphs to fat. Soon no one will be able to stand on their own and we’re all going to die. That escalated quickly…

I photographed this escalator while visiting Hoover Dam during the middle of the summer. To escape the 120° temperatures, I rode the escalator down towards the Visitor Center to try and catch a tour. Little did I know that the Visitor Center was closed for renovations and tours were temporarily suspended. I wasted a whole 30 seconds on that escalator ride down… On the way back up, I took the picture you see here.
