Castle in the Sky

When people think of San Francisco most naturally think of the Golden Gate Bridge, Full House, or the immense living expenses. Most overlook the 471 high-rises currently in the massive skyline, ranking only behind Los Angeles for the largest skyline in the West. 555 California Street, also known as the Bank of America Tower, is a 52-story modern skyscraper in San Francisco’s Financial District. A prominent element of the San Francisco skyline and one of the most highly recognized towers on the West Coast, it belongs in the elite class of timeless towers in American architecture.
