Bigfoot or Sasquatch?

$4.99$34.99

Believe it or not, for nearly two centuries sightings of a mysterious, upright-walking, ape-like creature dwelling in the wilderness have stumped thousands. Bigfoot, or as it’s often called in Canada, Sasquatch, is mentioned in several native American legends. In fact, the term “Sasquatch” is Indian for “hairy giant.” The first sighting of a Sasquatch came in 1811 near what now is the town of Jasper, Alberta, Canada. A trader named David Thompson found some strange footprints, fourteen inches long and eight inches wide, with four toes, in the snow.

Some local authorities have moved to protect Bigfoot. In Skamania County, Washington, it is illegal to kill a Bigfoot under penalty of $1,000 fine and five years in jail.

If Bigfoot does exist, they would live in an environment just like this. The forests in the Pacific Northwest are so dense, it’s hard to see five feet into it. I took this while hiking in Olympic National Park in Washington, wondering if something like what they say is out here really did exist.
