A Marvelous Marvel

Located within Yosemite National Park in California, Yosemite Falls simply can’t be missed. With a total height of 2,425 feet, it is the tallest waterfall in North America and 5^th tallest in the world. Although there are several trails that bring you up close and personal to the trail, I chose to photograph this marvel at Glacier Point, some 30 miles away by car. At this elevation of over 7,000 feet, you’ll experience the surreal panoramic view of Yosemite Valley. Out of frame on the right is the iconic Half Dome. I spent hours looking at the landscape trying to comprehend it all. Whether you’ve experienced the falls firsthand or now feel inspired to see for yourself – I can attest Yosemite Falls is truly a Marvelous Marvel.
